5 weeks at Christmas

Tomorrow is Christmas and Neo is 5 weeks old. Here's a picture of him wearing his snowman shirt and smiling. Happy Christmas to all! :)

1 Month

Neo went to the doctor on December 18th for his 1 month appointment. He weighted 12 pounds and was 24 1/4 inches long. His head measured 15 cm. He's gained 3 pounds and 3 inches in 4 weeks! Quite an accomplishment. Here's a picture of our Neo with Dave.

3 weeks

Neo has been smiling and giggling for a week now - and it's really had to capture that on camera. There's no warning and it fades fast. Here's one that blurry. The other picture is Neo wearing the new outfit from Aunt Ranae. Thanks Aunt Ranae!

18 days

Neo is now 18 days old - December 5, 2006. I took him in to be weighed (with clothes and diaper) and measured yesterday. He weighed 11 lbs 2 oz - so he's officially very close to 11 lbs already! He has grown 1.5 inches too. So he's now 23 inches long. This outfit Grandma Stallman bought for Neo. I thought we'd better get a picture of him wearing it before he outgrows it.

2 Weeks

Neo is 2 weeks old today, December 1, 2006. In this picture, taken by Zoe on 11-30, you can see the beginnings of a cleft chin...just like Dave. :) You can also see the folded ear.

1 Week old

We celebrated Thanksgiving at our house on Friday, November 25 with Grandma Stallman and Grandma Sorenson in attendance. Here's Neo's first meeting with Grandma Sorenson.

Thanksgiving Nov 24th

On Thanksgiving Day, Grandma Stallman came to visit from Phoenix, AZ. I took a picture of Neo's & Grandma's first encounter - with Grandma's camera. I'll post it when I get a copy.

Compare

Some have mentioned that Neo looks like Tristan did as a baby. Here's Tristan (in the yellow) at about 3 days old and Zoe (wearing white) at two days old for comparison purposes.

4 Days

Neo is 4 days old and there are changes in his face already. Here are a couple of pictures. Neo is a good baby. He's the first baby I've had to wake to feed at 4 hours - although it only happened once.

Non Stress

Here he is. This is a picture of Neo taken today, November 16, 2006. We had the amniotic fluid measured - and it's fine. He also had a Non Stress Test and he checks out fine. Even though there have not been any contractions to mention - 3 or 4 at a time 15 minutes apart at night only - I'm dialated to 4-5CM and ready to go. The Midwife thinks that tonight if I have my contractions again, that will put me "over the edge" and I'll be in labor and delivery tomorrow. If not, we can go in tomorrow, Friday, November 17th for a kick start to the labor. It looks like his birthdate will be November 17th - Fridays Child. 1 Week

It's official, Neo is just like his older brother and sister - taking an "extra" week. He knows a good thing when he has it and he doesn't wish to change his residence. There have been no signs that he his preparing an exit anytime soon - although the rest of the household is ready and waiting.....and waiting....and waiting....

November 10th

Look at this weather! Isn't this just perfect to have a baby in? We're supposed to get about 2 inches of snow tonight. Plus our phone is dead - so that's surely another sign.

Waiting

Today is November 3, 2006. We are patiently waiting for Neo to decide the date he wishes to be born. Neo's due date is November 7 - just 4 days from now. However his older brother and sister each took an extra week to make their appearances. So we'll see if he follows suit. :)
